Noracora Purple Hat

The first thing I noticed about this purple hat from Noracora is the unique shape,  it reminds me of something from the 1920's or 1930's,perhaps.  I believe the hat comes in one size only, and I do have a larger head but this happens to fit me fine.

This hat seems to be made out of some type of felt fabric and it is unhemmed.  The flower on the hat is painted orange in the middle and has what appears to be a small pompom in the center of it.
The hat is unlined and is very thin and feels like it's made from fabric, as I said before. There does seem to be differences in the appearance of this hat and they one that I looked at originally on the Noracora website.

Where today's outfit I decided to keep it very simple with a classic black jacket and one of my cashmere sweaters that I thrifted.

Noracora Grey Beret

For today's post,  I'm wearing this gray for a from Noracora. This is one of the better made berets that I have received from an online retailer.
The beret feels very sturdy, and high quality. The have several other colors of berets, but I went with this darker gray because was one I did not already have.
This beret has a band inside of it, and a string so it can be adjusted.
If I would change anything it would be to make this just a little bit larger, because I do have a larger head size.

If you have been following me and my fashion blog for any length of time you know I wear berets all throughout the fall and winter season, at least, I have been doing that for the past few years.  I just find them to be so versatile and useful and I like the look of them better than beanies or other more casual winter hats. The great thing about them as well is they take up such little space, so you can have a huge stack of them in a small hatbox. I'm looking forward to collecting even more in different colors.

Navy Blue Beret

I am wearing my new navy blue beret that I bought from Aliexpress.  I am still slowly but surely getting berets in all the colors I think I will actually use.  

The rose gold bag is also a new addition to my wardrobe.  It was on sale for only $5 at Walmart.  My mother got one, too.  I thought it would be fun to have matching bags, but then it occured to me we could end up with each others bags, lol!  I think I will add a special charm to mine to keep that from happening! 

I love the color, the size, and the front pocket.  The pocket is the perfect size for storing your cell phone so you can easily get to it.

The pin I have attched to the beret is another Aliexpress purchase.  I love the dusty pink/mauve color!

Colorblock Sweater

I went shopping today with my family.  I got a few pieces I need to finish the trim on my room.  That's something I probably should have done a long time ago, but there's always so much to do when renovating a home!

Now, on to my outfit...I love how well all the items I am wearing go together.  I bought the sweater over a year ago, and today was my first time wearing it.

The beret is one I bought recently from Aliexpress, and the pants were also purchased from Goodwill in the past few months.  I am also loving wearing my rose gold bag that I bought from Roses.  It is a great size and goes with a lot in my wardrobe!

Black Velvet Cap

I wore this outfit on the trip down to Ashville last month. 

Everything I am wearing, except for the leggings, all came from Goodwill.  I love the decorative details on the front of the zippered sweater jacket.  I thought the red was perfect for the Christmas season, too.

Most importantly, I wanted to be warm and comfortable for the long trip down the Ashville, so I opted for casual, but cute clothing.

I am standing out front of the Crown Plaza where we stayed out first night in town.  It was a nice stay!

Mauve Beret

I am wearing my new mauve beret for this OOTD post.   This beret is of such good quality, I can't believe it is under five dollars!  It comes in a lot of other colors, too!  I bought another one like it in a pretty blue, as well.  I am looking forward to wearing them both the rest of the winter and into spring.

The sweater I am wearing is one I bought from Goodwill lately, and the skirt is the one from Shein that I have been wearing so much since I received it!  It is so versatile!

Gray Beret

I am wearing my new gray beret that I purchased from Aliexpress. This beret is a nice quality, and on the softer side.  I am sill slowly, but surely collecting then in lots of colors.  I would also like a darker gray one.  I am currently waiting to receive a white one with pearls, and a beautiful, light green one.

The skirt is one I bought lately from Goodwill, and the black wool jacket is made by Talbot's, and one that I bought from Goodwill last year.  It's the perfect jacket, and I have been wearing it a lot alreay this fall and winter season.

The necklace and earrings are something I bought just last week from my favorite place to buy jewelry, Lowemart.

Riding Hat

I have wanted one of these hats for many years, and last year I finally got one!  I purchased this one from a shop at the Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, North Carolina.  I love the hat, and hope I get more use out of it, and think of more ways to wear it.

The jacket I am wearing is one I bought from Goodwill just lately. 

Lilac Beret

So, lilac is the color of the year, and I have theluck of finding this Liz Claiborne lilac beret at a Goodwill!  I was so happy to find it!  I was also so happy with how well this outfit turned out.  I felt so girly in it, and I think it's adorable.  It is such a great outfit for spring!

My pink wool jacket is by J Crew, and fits me perfectly.  I love it when the sleeves are not too long for me!

The same day I wore the outfit, I went shopping at the Dollar Tree and picked up white and lilac pom pom keychains to go with my hat and sweater. 

Peachy Dress

I think spring is such a fun time for fashion, especially if you are into hats, and girly dresses. Today I am sharing some peachy, soft, and pretty dresses like I am wearing here.

This is an older dress that I bought in the L.A. fashion district, but the necklace I am wearing was found at a thrift store and matches it so well!  Don't you love when that happens?

 The shoes were also found at a thrift store a different time, and the hat came from Roses, which is one of my favorite stores here in the south.

Abstract Print Colorful Sweater

I think this might be the most fun outfit I ever wore, or put together.  All of these items came from Goodwill!  Yet another example of why I love shopping vintage at thrift stores so much!

It's amzing to me that all the items were bought at different times, and yet they all go so well together!

PrAna Fedora and Dress

For today's post I am sharing two items from the sustainable brand, PrAna, that uses 100% organic cotton!

The first item is my "mocha bisque" Cybil knit fedora, which also comes in cargo green, coal, and light suede.   This hat is the perfect summer vacation hat!  The construction feels durable, and the fabric feels great, as well.  It seems like it will be easy to pack, while maintaining its shape, because after I have fold or squeeze it, it jumps right back into shape as soon as I unfold/release it! 

That hat comes in only one size, which is a 0/S, and I have a rather large head.  The good thing is that is still fits me very well!

I love the bright, beautiful colors on the band, as well.  I know this hat will go with many of my summer clothing items, but I can also see wearing this into the early fall, because of its "rusty" orange color.

Gold Faux Leather Jacket

So, I am finally sharing the outfit I wore for St. Patrick's Day.  I love having fun with my outfits, and especially for holidays, how about you?  It may be a little over-the-top, but that's the way I like it.

I have been waiting a long time to wear this top hat!  Top hats are another thing I love.  I love hats, in general, I just don't end up wearing them a lot, I suppose because I don't like to mess up my hair.

Lemon Print Dress

Isn't this such a cute print for spring?  This adorable dress is from Rosegal, and it's just $25.86!

 I am wearing a size small, and the fit is great.  The dress even has a zipper down the waist on one side, but I did not need to use it, I just pulled the dress on over my head.  There are ties behind the neck, so it is adjustable.  The back waist has elastic, and the dress feels like a cotton blend fabric.

This look is so fresh, and I think it's going to be great all spring and summer, too.  I already had the lemon heels, and bag to match!

Rosegal Hat and Floral Watch

 Today I am sharing a look that includes to items from Rosegal.  Rosegal has so many cute items!

The watch I am wearing is just $2.85 and comes in eight other colors!  I love the floral face, it's very pretty.  The actual watch part seems pretty well made, especially for the price.  I am not sure how long the band is going to hold up, but we'll see.  And for the price, I can't complain!
