Femme Luxe Summer Dresses

I hope you have all been enjoying your summer so far!  

 

It has been super hot here in Virginia this year.  One way to stay cool is to wear fabulous summer pieces like the ones I am wearing in the photos below. 

 

For today's post, I have four really beautiful dresses and coord sets - all from the Femme Luxe* brand.   These are all gorgeous, super sexy, and perfect for summer! Two of these outfits are in white, which is, of course, a summer classic color choice.   The great thing about white is that the options for accessories are endless. If you are still making any of your vacation plans, Femme Luxe is a great place to shop for all your glamorous vacation outfits; they have everything from dresses to casual outfit pieces, so it really is a one-stop shop for everything you need.  These outfits are sexy, pretty, and great for the hot, summer weather we are having here in Virginia. For size reference, I stand 5 feet 2 inches tall; I measure 32B in the bust; and I have a 26-inch waist and 35-inch hips. Fall is just around the corner, so I really want to enjoy all my beautiful summer outfits while I can.

This first bodycon dress is in a size UK 6 that fits perfectly. It has adjustable straps and a mesh overlay, with ruching that I really like. This shade of pink is very pretty, and I am such a fan of pink, anyway!  This would make the perfect date night or party dress; in fact, this is something I could especially see wearing on my birthday.  This dress has a zipper up the back, and a little bit of stretch to it, as well.  The pale pink really is so beautiful, and a favorite of mine! If you love pink, girlie things, I definitely suggest this beautiful dress from Femme Luxe. 

Next up, we have this blue, ruched dress that I am wearing in a size UK6. The color is especially gorgeous, and, I think, perfect for summer! It makes me think of beautiful, clear blue water, because it is such a beautiful shade of blue. The fit is perfect, and you just really can't go wrong with a ruched dress; I think they are so flattering! Also, I think this is the perfect dress to take on a vacation. I could see wearing this almost anywhere.  I love dresses like this, because there is no zipper, buttons, or anything like that, but it has perfect stretch to ensure the perfect fit, and they are always so comfortable, too! This would look amazing with bright, colorful accessories to make an even bolder statement. 

Here we have another dress in a size UK6. This one is white; it is a white, very form fitting midi-dress, and it is also ruched. It has a tie behind the neck, and a super deep V neck, making this especially sexy and beautiful for a date night. The deep V neck also makes this dress a great showcase for a lovely statement necklace.  This dress could be dressed up or down with sandals for a walk on the boardwalk, or with heels for a nice dinner date out.  White is another perfect summer staple, because, of course, it goes with so many different things! And I also think that, if you find the right shade, it can be flattering for pretty much anyone. This is such a lovey example of going out dresses.

Last, but not least, we have this two-piece set in a beautiful white fabric that is super stretchy and comfortable! This set is also a size UK6, and the fit is pretty much perfect. When I wear this outfit, it makes me feel like Cleopatra, or someone like that, because it has an old-fashioned feel to it. I could especially see wearing this with a lot of big, gold statement jewelry, or, if you really want to look like a queen.  I think I am going to add a gold belt, perhaps, and even use this for belly dancing. This is something I picture wearing while doing a belly dance, on occasion. It definitely brings to mind those summer vacation vibes. The skirt has an attached, tie belt. The nice thing about the belt is that is can be tied in different ways to create all sorts of different looks.

Femme Luxe Spring Dresses

For today's post, I have four super glamorous dresses - all from the Femme Luxe* website. Spring is here, and these dresses are going to be perfect for spring and summer vacations, nights out, and more.  I am particularly loving today's haul of gorgeous dresses; they are all super flattering and versatile.  In the winter, I usually wear a lot of leggings and sweaters, so I am so happy that it is now dress up season again, here, in Virginia.

 

There is a lot of green in today's post, but that is just a coincidence. It is just a coincidence, but green is actually a really fabulous and conversational color. It is great for fall (and maybe even winter), but it can also be perfect for spring and summer, if you add some beautiful pinks, reds, yellows, and bright, sunny, summer floral colors.  I have always especially loved the color combination of pink and green; I think they go fabulously together.

First of all, we have this "army green," or "olive drab green," rouched dress. It is such a beautiful color! And it sure is unique - especially for this style of dress. It is in my favorite, original style, which I think is very flattering. This style also makes it great for packing, since it does not seem to show wrinkles nearly as badly as some fabrics. The solid color makes this fabulous for wearing lots of different accessories with it, and dressing it up or down. This dress is in a Size UK6. It fits great on me, except that it is a little bit too loose in the bust, but that is fine. It kind of drapes like a cowl neck on me, but if you have a larger bust it would fit you more like a straight across neck line.  The straps on this dress are not adjustable, but they are stretchy, so I think that helps in fitting most sizes.

Next up, we have this interesting, white dress that is definitely great for a summer vacation. It was nice to find the short version of the white midi dress from Femme luxe that is similar to this. This one is in a Size 6. It is snug, but I think that is the way it's supposed to be, and it still fits me very well, because it is strapless. It is nice, because does not fall down when I am wearing it. This dress does not have any zippers; you can just pull it on over your head, or step into it, because the fabric is super stretchy and comfortable.  I think this dress would be cute to wear with sneakers, flip-flops, or heels - for dinner out or clubbing.  The great thing about this dress is that it does not appear to be see-through, but I would always, of course, wear with nude underwear, just in case.

This darker, green dress has a beautiful surprise in the back; it has two layers of gold chain . I think this would also be a lovely date night dress because of that. This one is also in a Size UK6. The fit is fabulous; the fabric is super stretchy and comfortable. This is another dress you can either just pull over your head or step into.  This is another dress that does not have adjustable straps, but it is also so stretchy making it able to fit most people anywhere near this size.  I was really happy to see that the chain hangs perfectly across the back, and not too loose or tight on me, which is sometimes the case with designs like this.  This is a great take on the little black dress!

Last and certainly not least, we have this dress in a lighter shade of green, that has ruching on all sides, and even in the bra cups. This does have adjustable straps, and also a zipper up the back. The fabric is more like a soft knit, and I really adore this dress, because I think it is so gorgeous and flattering, and not quite like anything else I already had in my wardrobe! This one is also in a Size UK6, and the fit is fabulous. I especially love how it does not create a gap at the bust on me. My bra size is 32B, so, if you do not have a larger bra cup size, this dress might not be a great option for you, but for those of us with smaller bra cup sizes - girls, this dress is especially great.  I love this dress so much! And I would like to see it in several other colors for my wardrobe.

Noracora Spring Dresses

 For today's post, I have four lovely bohemian dresses (all from Noracora*) that I was kindly sent for review.

First of all, we'll start off with this very long, tropical print T-shirt maxi dress. This one is so soft and stretchy! It's going to be perfect for summer time. It would be cute to wear while going out, but also for lounging around the house. I could totally picture taking this on a nice beach vacation. I'm wearing everything in today's post in a size Small, for reference. This dress is a little bit too long on me, but it has a raw hem, so it would be very easy to just cut off a few inches to make it the perfect length for whoever is going  to wear it.

Next, we have this beautiful lilac or purple print dress with the nice bell sleeves. This does not have any zippers or buttons, or anything like that, and the fabric does not stretch, but it is made in a very loose and flowing style, so it is easy to just pull on over your head. The fabric is very lightweight, as if it were intended for use as a lining for other garments, but it does not seem to be transparent, so I do not think that wearing anything, such as a slip, underneath this, would ever be necessary .

Here we have this red, floral print dress that is also made in a very flowing, oversized style. This one is so comfortable that it could be a great house dress, but it also looks fabulous enough to wear out and about. You could cinch it in at the waist with a belt, if you wanted to change up the look, and add more definition to the waist, but I am very happy with it just the way it is. This one also has no zippers or buttons; you just put it on over your head. It is made of a very lightweight fabric - the same as the other  lining type of fabric I mentioned above, making this a great option for travel, since it weighs very little.

Last, but at least, we have this kind of natural colored, abstract design, sleepless dress. This one also has no zippers or buttons, and the fabric has no stretch, but it is made loosely enough for me to put it on by pulling it over my head. The fabric is also the same as the fabric used to make the last two dresses.  I think everything in today's collection would be fabulous for travel, including this dress.

Femme Luxe Spring / Summer Dresses

I have four beautiful dresses* (all from Femme Luxe!) for today's blog post. It's been so much warmer and beautiful here in Virginia lately!  So I'm so excited to start wearing dresses again, after a long winter wearing leggings and sweaters.  All of the dresses in today's post are going to be lovely for date nights or events, and I think they also work for all year around, but, of course, I'm especially excited to wear them during the warmer weather.  Pretty much all of these dresses are very light weight, making them great for travel as well.  I am planning to start traveling again this year, after not traveling for several years, so I am always going to look out for things that I think would pack and wear well.  I am excited for all of the plans we are making! So far, we have booked a Christmas getaway, and I am hoping to go on a vacation during the spring or summer, this year.

First of all, we have this beautiful, silky, beige satin looking dress. Although the fabric is thin and stretchy, I think it is very flattering, with this kind of slip dress effect, and, of course, the way the dress drapes make this especially beautiful, with a design detail.

I went with a dress that is a Size UK 6, and the fit is perfect; it fits me like a glove! The dress has a zipper in the back, and it also has adjustable straps. This dress has an interesting neckline, because it kind of scoops upward, instead of straight across. I like how unique it is; it is not often that you see anything quite like this. Is this such a lovely neutral color! And I think it would be great to wear almost all year round, and for all types of events.

Next up, we have something different from the little black dress... this gorgeous, pink, ruched dress that is going to be so perfect for spring and summer! There are so many things you could do with this dress! You can wear belts and/or jewelry of different colors with it. You could go bold with colors such as turquoise, in a chunky statement necklace. I selected this dress in a Size UK 6, and the fit is pretty much perfect, as well. This would be such a great dress to take on vacation, because it's something that can be dressed up or down. It would be just as beautiful with flip-flops as it would be with a pair of sexy heels. This shade of pink just screams "SUMMER!" to me. So much fun! And I happen to have a pair of heels (and also some lipstick) that would go very well with it, because they are almost the same shades of pink.

Here we have another ruched, draped, satin-like dress, in this kind of a smoky blue color, which is a very interesting color, and one that I have always been fond of. This one has a zipper underneath one arm, and the fabric is stretchy, so it is easy to get on and off.   This dress has little sleeves; if you don't like those, I think they would be very easy to just snip off, because they are connected with just a little bit of thread under the arm area. I love how all of these dresses look like real silk, even though they are a different type of fabric, and they look very dressy. The color of this dress makes it a great one to wear all year around. I think satin is something that could be acceptable and worn through every season. Femme Luxe also has ripped jeans for women, but sometimes it really nice to wear a glamorous dress!

This green dress and the satin style fabric is so lovely and figure flattering that I think it makes me look like a million bucks! This one also has adjustable straps, a zipper up the back, and a little bit of boning underneath the bust, in the waist.  This would be so lovely for a dinner date! Or a nice event! The fabric is stretchy, so this one is also very comfortable. I love the neckline and how flattering it looks on the bust area. I think the length of this dress (and all of the dresses in today's post) are all so very nice! I stand only 5 feet 2 inches tall, but I love where they fall on me. This dress is also in Size UK 6, and the fit is fabulous!  This would also be lovely as a white midi dress!

Femme Luxe Dresses

With Spring just a right around the corner, I have another Femme Luxe fashion haul*; this time, I have three beautiful dresses that will be perfect for spring and summer, so something a little different than the usual women's loungewear sets. We're going to be heading to the beach soon, and I would love to wear these but, unfortunately, it's still going to be a little too cold where we're going, so these will have to wait a little bit longer.   I am looking forward to warmer weather, when I can get out of my leggings and sweaters, and wear beautiful dresses like these again. I do love sweaters and things like that, but dressing for warm weather is just so much easier, and, of course, when you do travel, it is easier to pack more, because you're clothing is that much skimpier.   Bringing a beautiful dress along, as well as a few different colors, makes planning planning outfits for a trip so easy!   I think the orange dress is going to be so much fun to wear in the summer! And I can just picture wearing this on a fabulous summer vacation.

First of all, we have what I think may be my favorite of today's hall, and it is this orange, ruched dress, and it is in  a size UK 6, and the fit is perfect?

 It has straps on the shoulders that you can easily adjust, and they just tie however you like them. I love that, because it makes this so convenient a customizable! So this dress has ruching around the front, and then, on the back, it is just plain and smooth. The fabric is super stretchy, and and so very comfortable!   

 You know I have mentioned so many times before how I loved a good ruched dress from Femme Luxe, and Femme Luxe never disappoints with their stunning, ruched dresses in a whole myriad of colors, as well as different styles and lengths. 

This one is such a great length on me too! I am very happy with where the lower hem comes down to when I'm standing up, and I also like how it is straight across at the bust line, making this a little bit different from some of the dresses that I already have in my wardrobe.   This dress also has a little bit of lace at the top, and a little bit of ruching in just the right places, that makes it such an elegant and flattering cut and style of dress!

Next up, we have another favorite of mine, and it is this beautiful, stretchy, red satin dress, also in a size UK 6.  It fits me like a glove, and this dress has just a couple straps, and it also has a zipper up the back. This is so flattering! And it is something that would be beautiful to wear for a date night, and many other occasions.   I really do feel as if I look very nice in this dress, and it is definitely my favorite kind of style to take with me on trips, because I have said many times before that this is something that you could change up with different accessories; it is like a blank palette for wearing with my gold and/or silver jewelry and accessories, et cetera.   The shade of red of this dress is just absolutely gorgeous, as well! I do not wear red very often, for some reason, but I probably should, because I really do love the way it looks, and I like the way I look in red as well.   For this look I decided to go with some classic rhinestone jewelry. The red is a bold take on the classic little black dress.

And, lastly, we have this velvet dress, here. There are ties behind the back, and also around the neck. The one is also in a size UK 6, and the fit is perfect.  I really love how stretchy soft and comfortable this one is, as well.   The color is beautiful, and, because this is real, I suppose that this is something that you could wear all year round, although, of course, it is on the skimpy side, but perhaps you could wear this with a nice, long coat or cardigan over it.   Another thing that is great about this one, is that there are no zippers or anything like that, so it is very easy to get the fit you want by adjusting the straps, and, also, the fabric is easy to adjust because it is so stretchy!   This darker red shade also makes me think of the fall and winter seasons.

Ever Pretty Formal Gowns

For tonight's post, I have two absolutely beautiful gowns*, both of which are from Ever Pretty.  I've had the pleasure of working with Ever Pretty in the past, so I was very happy when I was once again offered to collaborate, and review these two beautiful gowns.

First of all, we have this absolutely stunning, white gown. It comes in a variety of other colors, but I went with white for this, so this could make an amazing, beautiful, and totally affordable wedding gown, in case you are in the market for bridal wear. With spring just around the corner, it is definitely a great time to be thinking about all of your spring wedding purchases, and dress hunting, et cetera.

I went with a Size 4 for both of these gowns, and they fit me very well. I like that the bottom of this dress is a simple net, so you could even easily trim it yourself, if it turned out to be a little too long for you. This dress is the same as the gold one below. Both of these dresses are zipped up in the back. The fabric does not have a lot of stretch or give, but this is ameliorated by the fact that they come in such a wide variety of sizes. 

Next up, we have this gorgeous, gold dress that is very similar to the white one in the sequin detail, but this one, of course, has the short sleeves which I find be a nice, and different take on evening wear. This is a little bit more demure and conservative. 

I love the shade of gold, but this dress also comes in a variety of other colors just like the white one above. The fit is very nice for me in this dress the only thing is it's just a tad large in hip area. This would make a beautiful bridesmaid or mother of the bride dress.

Femme Luxe Spring Dress Haul

For today's post I have another Femme Luxe* fashion haul.  This time it's all beautiful dresses dresses just in time for Spring, which is hopefully right around the corner.  

I have been doing lots of knit wear hauls from Femme Luxe and other companies, so it was nice to have a little less to wear for a change and look forward to warmer weather.  

It seems like we've had snow on the ground for over a week now is a week now, so planning beautiful spring and summer outfits has been a fun thing to do. 

Everything in today's post is a solid color. I am a huge fan of prints, but sometimes it's nice to have something that is just a solid color because they really do make a great blank canvas for adding different jewelry and accessories too.  

It really does seem like the sky is the limit with those types of items and they are also very flattering, as well, because you don't have to worry about the right stripes or the size of floral patterns, et cetera.

This first dress is going to be lovely for spring and summer. It is a very snug fitting white ruched strapless dress and is it in a size UK 6.  The fit is great, and this is definitely form fitting and super sexy.  

The ruched knit dresses from Femme Luxe are definitely a big favorite of mine since they are just such versatile and comfortable pieces. 

They look fabulous on their own but also work as a blank canvas to add all kinds of different jewelry and accessories.  I like that this dress stays in place because it's so fitted and it has a little bit of extra elastic at the top to keep things nice and secure, as well. 

I also like that the ruching is even all the way around. I always think that rushing is very flattering.  

For spring and summer I think the little white dress is a great warm weather take on the little black dress.

Another one that is very pretty for spring and summer is this pastel pink spaghetti strapped dress which also has ruching and is also in a size UK 6.  

This dress is shorter than the white midi dress in today's haul.  If you're looking to show off your legs this is definitely a great option. I'm only 5' 2 so if you're taller this will be showing even more leg, of course. 

The fabric of this dress was just so soft, stretchy and comfortable.  

For this dress I wore it with a nude bra, so I would suggest a nude underwear for this and the white one, of course. 

I am a fan of this darker color.  I think that this green ruched dress would be great for all year along.

This one is also in a size UK 6.  The fit is super comfortable the fabric is so slinky and stretchy. 

This dress ties behind the neck, so you can somewhat adjust how deep you want to be neck to be, which I find really cool.  

I think this would be a very lovely dress to wear out for dinner and and hopefully I'll have some occasions to wear this out in about very soon.  

This dress is on the longer side.  I think this is what I've described as a middle length or perhaps a little bit longer on me because I am only 5' 2" tall, after all.  

I think especially gold accessories would look very fabulous with this emerald green dress perhaps something like a gold statement necklace would really make the color stand out.

And lastly, we have this white dress that hooks up the front and has long sleeves.  This is also in a size UK 6.

I found this to be a little bit larger in the hip area on me, but I suppose I could run a stitch down the side if I wanted to take it in a bit.  

The fabric does not really have any stretch and the way you get this dress on and off is to hook and unhook all of them down the front of the dress.  The shoulders have shoulder pads.  The sleeves were a little bit long on me but that is okay because I just scrunched them up and you can also fold them under.
