Noracora Spring Dresses

 For today's post, I have four lovely bohemian dresses (all from Noracora*) that I was kindly sent for review.

First of all, we'll start off with this very long, tropical print T-shirt maxi dress. This one is so soft and stretchy! It's going to be perfect for summer time. It would be cute to wear while going out, but also for lounging around the house. I could totally picture taking this on a nice beach vacation. I'm wearing everything in today's post in a size Small, for reference. This dress is a little bit too long on me, but it has a raw hem, so it would be very easy to just cut off a few inches to make it the perfect length for whoever is going  to wear it.

Next, we have this beautiful lilac or purple print dress with the nice bell sleeves. This does not have any zippers or buttons, or anything like that, and the fabric does not stretch, but it is made in a very loose and flowing style, so it is easy to just pull on over your head. The fabric is very lightweight, as if it were intended for use as a lining for other garments, but it does not seem to be transparent, so I do not think that wearing anything, such as a slip, underneath this, would ever be necessary .

Here we have this red, floral print dress that is also made in a very flowing, oversized style. This one is so comfortable that it could be a great house dress, but it also looks fabulous enough to wear out and about. You could cinch it in at the waist with a belt, if you wanted to change up the look, and add more definition to the waist, but I am very happy with it just the way it is. This one also has no zippers or buttons; you just put it on over your head. It is made of a very lightweight fabric - the same as the other  lining type of fabric I mentioned above, making this a great option for travel, since it weighs very little.

Last, but at least, we have this kind of natural colored, abstract design, sleepless dress. This one also has no zippers or buttons, and the fabric has no stretch, but it is made loosely enough for me to put it on by pulling it over my head. The fabric is also the same as the fabric used to make the last two dresses.  I think everything in today's collection would be fabulous for travel, including this dress.

Femme Luxe Fashion

It's been a while since posting, but for tonight's post I am back with another Femme Luxe fashion haul*. I hope everyone has been having a great week so far, I just celebrated my birthday on September 20th, and I've been taking a time off from posting on my blog it seems, but not intentionally.  

It's now officially fall and here and Virginia it's been rather rainy today. I am looking forward to wearing my fall and winter clothing for a change, but I will definitely miss the summer, as well.

For this haul, I have a few items that are going to be good for the fall season, especially.  

Now is a great time to update your wardrobe, and Femme Luxe has so many different styles and items to choose from, I have just three of those for today's post, including a black dress.  Just because it is after Labor Day, I still like wearing white dresses, as well!  

Let's start off with this two piece top and skirt set. This set is in a size UK 6 and the fit is really great. The fabric is thicker, but has some stretch and feels more like a nice thick T-shirt fabric, almost. 

I love the neutral color, especially because it's going to be great to wear with so many other colors and accessories and definitely makes me think of the autumn season, as well. 

This would be so cute with a pair of over the knee boots perhaps, and perhaps a pair of thick tights. Throw on a beautiful cardigan or jacket and a nice hat and this is definitely something that can transition right into fall.  

The skirt is a mini skirt and the top is cropped.  You can wear the skirt lower on the hips if you want or higher like I did in these photos.  I could see wearing the skirt separate from the included crop top with a nice chunky sweater for the fall and winter season,  I think it would be a very cute look.

The top would look cute with denim shorts in the summer, too!

Next up, we have another great basic item, and it is this long and super figure flattering black dress, also in a UK size 6. 

This dress has a high mock neck and a zipper that goes down the front. 

The fabric is very nice and stretchy, and I really love black dresses, because they are such a blank slate for adding all types of colors and accessories.  This is one I could definitely see getting tons of use out of in the fall and winter season. 

This is the kind of dress that makes you, the wearer look great.  

The dress falls to just above the ankles on me on me, which is a length I do not have a lot of dresses in but I think it's especially great for cooler weather because it is going keep me nice and warm, and I would not even need to wear tights underneath if I didn't want to. 

This is the kind of dress I think we look stunning with a beautiful belt in gold or silver.  The thing about this is you can definitely go with either metal you would like, there are just so many ways to wear a basic black dress. 

I know I've written about it many times before and especially with Femme Luxe clothing hauls, but this is the kind of dress that I could see taking on a winter vacation because you can wear it to almost anywhere and dress it up or down.

Last, but not least we have this pair of black-and-white hounds tooth print pants, and they are in a size UK 8. 

These pants have pockets and a matching tie waist belt, although it would be really easy to switch it out for a black belt if you want to change up the look. 

I am such a fan of hounds tooth, and the great thing about it is it is kind of a neutral in my opinion so you could wear this with so many other colors like red, royal blue, etc., and it would look great.

For this look I decided to keep it super simple and just add a simple black cropped top. 

These pants would look really cute with a chunky sweater for the fall and winter season, though.

These pants have an elastic waistband and the fabric is slightly stretchy, so it makes them comfortable and easy to wear. These do come lower on the waist, so wearing them with a longer top is probably going to be what I do most of the time.

I am such a fan of blue velvet so I was really happy when I saw this blue velvet dress, it's not only a stunning shade of blue and velvet but also ruched, which is another of my favorite design detail of mine.

I'm wearing this dress in a size small in the fit is great. It fits very snug and it's also comfortable because it has a lot of stretch. 

I like the dress having long sleeves because that means it is going to be really great to wear in the fall and Winter season. Another great thing as that even though the shoulders are very far apart they do not slip off the shoulders because the elastic.  It works out just perfectly for me, so I'm so happy about that because usually when things are designed like this the shoulders keep slipping off which can be annoying eventually.

This white broderie anglaise dress is another one that is going to be a spring and summer staple.

I love this because you can dress it up or down. You cannot really go wrong with a basic white dress for the warm seasons. A great feature about this dress is that is is lined in the bust, so you don't have to worry about wearing a nude bra, even. 

The dress has a few little buttons up the front and then the waist is a draw string.  The fabric does not have any stretch, so you just pull the dress on over your head and then cinch at the waist.

This black satin slip dress is very comfortable. The dress has a zipper under the left arm and it also has adjustable straps.

I went with a size small and the fit is very good, I think it may fit someone that is bigger in the bust even better for reference I am 32B cup in the bust. 

I like little covered button detail that runs down the left side of the dress.  That detail adds a bit of interest on what could have been a plain slip dress.

The green midi dress is a lovely shade of green, and the length is also very nice.  The dress has a zipper up the back and a fabric is nice and flowing.  I went with a size small the fit is very good, though just a little bit loose in the bust area. 

The dress has little straps than you can tie at the shoulder so it is totally adjustable in that way. The fabric of the stress does not really have any stretch but there's a back panel that does so that definitely helps with the fit.

This pink dress is such a beautiful shade of pink, but it also comes at a whole host of other colors. 

I love that there is so many ways to adjust this dress. It ties behind the back, at the back of the neck and then also at the waist, so it is easy to cinch it in to get the perfect fit. 

This is the perfect trust to take with you on a beach or tropical vacation. I could just see dancing in the sand and wearing this one, it is so full and flouncy and pretty and girly!
I'm wearing the dress in a size small, and of course it fits great.

This black and gold sequined evening gown is just stunning! I really love the look of it and that the fabric is soft and stretchy so it's actually very comfortable to wear.  This dress zips up the back, so it is very easy to get on and off.  I am just 5'2", and even with heels, this dress is very long on me.  I love the fishtail bottom of the dress.  I have always been a fan of that style.

I'm wearing this black cut out dress in a size small.  It's a little bit loose on me, but still fits pretty well and is very comfortable.  

The fabric is not see through, which is great.  It has these really big, amazing cut outs down the side of the left hip. I am not sure exactly where I'd wear this but probably somewhere very warm and tropical. The fabric feels kind of like a T-shirt and has plenty of stretch.

Next, this blue and red print cut out dress is somewhat similar to the black one, though this fabric of this one is thinner.  The fabric is very stretchy, and the the dress is very easy to get on and off.  I like the bold blue and red color combination.  It is not a combination I see very often in prints like this.

Last, but not least is this bright orange cut out dress.  I am wearing it in a size small.  This dress is very thin, stretchy and see though.  I wore it with silicone breast covers, and nude underwear.  I could see wearing this on vacation to somewhere hot, and where it would be okay to wear something so skimpy.

SHEIN Polka Dot Floral Print Dress

I decided to go for this floral and polka dot print retro style dress from SHEIN because it reminded me of the 1980's.  I have been watching Miami Vice this fall, and the 80's styles are on my mind.

I went with a size extra small and the fit is perfect for for me.  The dress does not have any stretch in the fabric, but it does have a zipper up the back and a matching fabric belt. 

There is a short slit up the back of the dress.  I can definitely say this is not like anything else I already had in my wardrobe, which I always think is a plus. 

The fabric is nice and comfortable, and this feels like a great dress to wear on days when the weather is milder. 

The dress is only $19 which I think is a great deal, and it comes in sizes extra small to large. 

Since I'm only 5'2", the dress comes very long on me and it almost feels like I'm wearing an evening gown and so it has a very dressy feel to it.

Noracora Yellow Floral Maxi Dress

 My favorite thing about this yellow and green floral print maxi dress from Noracora is just how flowing and comfortable it is!

The yellow and green color combinations, along with the print reminds me of 1970's style.  This dress is just so comfortable, because it is loose.  I am wearing a small, and the dress is a perfect fit for the style.  The dress does have a zipper, but I did not feel in necessary to use in order to get the dress on.  I was glad to discover that the dress was not too long for me, even though it is a maxi length.  It is always nice when I don't feel the need to hem something, or wear it with super tall heels. Because of the more subdued colors, this is another piece that could be worn in spring, summer and straight into fall.

The fabric does not have any stretch, but I find it to feel very comfortable.  The fabric also feels on the thicker side, so I think it is going to wear and hold up to use, well.
