SHEIN Polka Dot Floral Print Dress

I decided to go for this floral and polka dot print retro style dress from SHEIN because it reminded me of the 1980's.  I have been watching Miami Vice this fall, and the 80's styles are on my mind.

I went with a size extra small and the fit is perfect for for me.  The dress does not have any stretch in the fabric, but it does have a zipper up the back and a matching fabric belt. 

There is a short slit up the back of the dress.  I can definitely say this is not like anything else I already had in my wardrobe, which I always think is a plus. 

The fabric is nice and comfortable, and this feels like a great dress to wear on days when the weather is milder. 

The dress is only $19 which I think is a great deal, and it comes in sizes extra small to large. 

Since I'm only 5'2", the dress comes very long on me and it almost feels like I'm wearing an evening gown and so it has a very dressy feel to it.

SHEIN Pink Polka Dot Skirt

This pink polka skirt from SHEIN reminds me of something in a Spanish style, which I love. I'm wearing it in a size medium, and the fit is perfect for me.

This skirt has a zipper up the right side and also has two ties on the left side.
This is a very cute style that is made like a wrap skirt, and it's very flattering.
I think it's going to be very cute one with different tops this summer.
I'm happy with the quality of the fabric it's not too thick or thin .

For this look I decided to wear it with just a simple black lace crop top and some black accessories.
I think this is also something that could be worn all year around and look just as cute and the winter with a black turtleneck, for instance.
I could also see it being worn for a more retro style outfit. I just think that polka dots are so fun and timeless!

SHEIN Polka Dot Blouse and Skirt

For today's post, I have two polka dot items from SHEIN. Both are perfect for adding to your spring wardrobe.

First off is this adorable white polka dot top.
I love the black ribbon detail at the shoulders. I'm wearing the stop in a size small and the fit is really perfect, except that these shoulders slip off quite often.  I think if you are perhaps taller maybe this would be less of an issue. The lace is soft and comfortable .
The top has a zipper up the right side so it's easy to get on and off. This would be so beautiful with lots of different colors besides the black skirt I'm wearing.

This black polka dot skirt is very comfortable the lace is very soft and has little polka dots all over it. I'm wearing a size small in the fit is perfect the skirt has elastic waistband which is plenty stretchy and comfortable. I think a skirt like this is very versatile as it can be worn with so many different things and pretty much throughout all seasons. I like that the skirt has 3 tears and it does not have a separate linings I know have to worry about that pulling up awkwardly as is the case with some skirts.

SHEIN Spring Collection: Black Polka Dot Skirt

Happy first day of Spring! I hope this is a new beginning for all of us. and that things get better very soon.

For today's post I'm wearing this black polka dot skirt from SHEIN.
I love that it is black, because it will go with pretty much anything, during any season.
The polka dots even go with many other prints, so it's basically a neutral.

I'm wearing a size small and the fit is comfortable and perfect.
The skirt has a elastic waistband so it can stretch to fit. The fabric is mesh with a satiny type of lining underneath.

I think this is going to be so cute for Spring because you can wear it with brighter, lighter colors or with something on the darker side, like I wore for today's outfit.
The little polka dots feel almost like a velvet type of material. As I said, this really is great for all year around and I can see wearing it this next holiday season with a chunky sweater;  I think it would be adorable!

SHEIN Houndstooth Jacket and Polka Dot Blouse

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!  I am looking forward to the new year, how about you?

This black-and-white houndstooth jacket from SHEIN reminds me of something from a designer brand, it's just such a classic.   I'm wearing a size extra small and it is a little snug in the sleeves, so I wish I had sized up to a small instead.  That being said,  I can still wear it.

The fabric is comfortable to wear and the jacket is unlined, making it especially good to wear with things that are sleeveless, in my opinion. This fabric has no stretch so keep that in mind as well. The jacket has decorative buttons and decorative pockets but does not have any closure in the front so you just wear it open.

I'm so glad to know that the fabric of this polka dot blouse is not scratchy, I found it to be very comfortable. I'm wearing a size small and the fit is great.

I can see wearing this blouse in so many different ways. You can wear it over a bra, you can wear it over different colors, you can wear it over a dress, and you can pretty much wear it all year around, making it very versatile.

This blouse buttons down the front and has elastic at the bottom of the sleeves. I thought it went very well with the houndstooth jacket. Another great thing about this blouse is that it can be dressed up or down.

Navy Blue Polka Dot Dress

I wore this dress to have dinner with Vaughan at Chevy's in Pentagon City earlier this month.  I found it to be very comfortable.  The fabric is thick, but stretchy, just how I like it.  I love the polka dots, and the navy and white colors.  The shoulders can be worn on or off.  I decided to go with on for this outfit, and I added a touch of color with this gold seashell and pearl belt I found at Goodwill recently.  

This dress is $18.00, and well worth it I think.  The fabric feels like something that will last a while, and doesn't seem to snag, etc.

Polka Dot Mini Skirt

I have had both this top and skirt for years.  I love polka dots, especially the larger sized ones like these.  My tee is made from a sheer fabric, so I wore one of my beige bra tops underneath.  I love that style of bra.  It is so comfortable because there is no underwire.  I don't know about you, but I hate having anything too tight around my waist, or chest, so these are my favorites.

I wore my black booties because it was raining outside before I took these photos, and I didn't want to sink into the ground.  I need more pavement, less dirt and grass my yard!

Polka Dot Retro Pin Up Dress

 I just adore this retro, polka dot pin-up style dress!    As someone that has done, and still does retro and pin-up style modeling, this is such a perfect dress for it!  As only $28.98, it's a fabulous deal, too!  The cut and style also comes in ten other gorgeous print!  

When I wore this dress out recently, I received several compliments on it, and my family is also a big fan of the look.  Honestly, I feel like a doll when I am wearing it!  It's just such a fun style!

The only downside to this beautiful dress is that it is cotton, and it tends to wrinkle.  I still think it's so cute, a few wrinkles don't really detract.

MakeMeChic Polka Dot Maxi Dress

I love this new polka dot dress from MakeMeChic!  The fabric feels just fantastic! I decided to go with pops of red to brighten the look, and create a "Spanish" feel to my outfit.  I like how I can wear this dress on or off shoulder, too, and either way it's comfortable.  

This dress is so long, I had to pull out some of my tallest heels so I could wear it.  I may hem it later so I can wear it with even more shoe options in the future.  This is definitely a dress I want to wear again!
