SHEIN Houndstooth Jacket and Polka Dot Blouse

This black-and-white houndstooth jacket from SHEIN reminds me of something from a designer brand, it's just such a classic.   I'm wearing a size extra small and it is a little snug in the sleeves, so I wish I had sized up to a small instead.  That being said,  I can still wear it.

The fabric is comfortable to wear and the jacket is unlined, making it especially good to wear with things that are sleeveless, in my opinion. This fabric has no stretch so keep that in mind as well. The jacket has decorative buttons and decorative pockets but does not have any closure in the front so you just wear it open.

I'm so glad to know that the fabric of this polka dot blouse is not scratchy, I found it to be very comfortable. I'm wearing a size small and the fit is great.

I can see wearing this blouse in so many different ways. You can wear it over a bra, you can wear it over different colors, you can wear it over a dress, and you can pretty much wear it all year around, making it very versatile.

This blouse buttons down the front and has elastic at the bottom of the sleeves. I thought it went very well with the houndstooth jacket. Another great thing about this blouse is that it can be dressed up or down.

Black And White Houndstooth Skirt

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  

For today's outfit, I'm wearing a bustier that zips up the back.  A lot of times I have a problem with this kind of top fitting me well in the bust, and it tends to slide down, but this one is fitted just snug enough that's not a problem.  A bustier can really add a look of elegance to an outfit.  I like how I can wear this one with so many different bottoms.

 Happy Friday the 13th!  I hope everyone is doing better than me.  I am currently recovering from food poisoning.  I'm finally feeling much stronger tonight so I am posting this pretty late.  This outfit is from earlier in the week, it was a colder day so I opted for the thicker fabric of this Jessica Howard dress.

I am a fan of exposed zippers.  I am wearing my skirt backwards so the zipper is in front for this outfit.  If you think you'd like to wear something a little different, don't be afraid to change it around.  For instance, I have also worn dresses backwards because I thought the neck was a little too deep for what I wanted, or the print on the back of something was even prettier than the front.  My mother has told me that as a little girl, I insisted on wearing my ruffle panties backwards because I wanted to see the pretty ruffles myself.  It looks like some things never change!
