I found this amazing tassel bag at American Way Thrift.  It has the largest tassels I've ever seen!

I've has the ruched dress for a while, and I love how it can be dressed up or down. The tag has been removed, so unfortunately I don't know who made the dress. The necklace was a gift from my mother, and the belt is another thrift find.  My shoes are my favorites, because they have low heels and are pretty comfortable to wear. I actually have at least two pair in the same style. 

My family and I have still been very busy getting ready to move, so I haven't been wearing much other than casual clothes to work in lately.  It's amazing how many things we gather over time!  Ugh, it would be a lot simpler to just get rid of everything!

Yellow Hawaiian Shirt

I bought this Hawaiian shirt brand new for $1.00 at a bargain store.  The pants were also $1.00 from a thrift store.  It's amazing how closely they match the colors in my top!  This outfit is different from my normal style, but it was fun for a change.  The necklace and earring set was $1.00, and the shoes were about $3.00, so the total cost of this complete outfit was just $6.00!

Bebe Beaded Top

I found this beaded top and skirt at my local American Way Thrift Store.  I just love how soft and flouncy the skirt is!  The beaded top is a bit heavy, but it's very pretty and fits well.  The beading almost looks like a spider web!  Perhaps I should wear this again near Halloween!  I also wore a necklace that was a gift from my grandmother that has gunmetal beads that match the gray top and skirt very well.

This pretty skirt was a gift from my mother.  I just recently found the beautiful top by Ann Taylor.  I love the pretty, pink print!  It's very similar to another top I have, and a tie my husband has.

Lush Polka Dot Dress

My husband thought this dress was ugly, and didn't think I should buy it, but as usual, he thought it looked nice once I had it on and styled.   I personally love the way it feels.  The fabric is very soft and floaty.  I added a bead bead necklace I've had for years, a vintage gold belt, and a pair of heels I just recently purchased.  In these photos, I'm not wearing any eyeliner, that's pretty rare for me!  Sometimes it's nice to take a break from it, though, so here I am.

In this set of photos from the Bargain Camera Show, I am wearing a beautiful fishtail gown that I purchased from Goodwill for just $3.00!  The gown is an almost perfect fit, and the ruching is very figure flattering.  The blond wig was bought from Ebay. Sometimes when I am going to be modeling a lot of different looks, I like to wear wigs to really change things up.  I find they are more comfortable to pose in for a short period of time, rather than for daily wear because they usually give me a headache after a while.

Bargain Camera Show

On Sunday, the 19th, I had the opportunity to be one for the models at the Bargain Camera Show in Anaheim, California.  Here, I am wearing a vintage dress that was a gift from my mother.  I paired it with a red flower necklace I purchased from Walmart.  I have always been a fan of ruching.  This dress is most likely from the 80's or early 90's, but I think it has a timeless look.

Pink Flower Necklace

Pink! Pink! Pink!  It's certainly one of my favorite colors.  I just adore these beautiful, flower statement necklaces I found at Walmart.  I picked up the pink, ruched top from dd's Discounts.  The pretty, floral print skirt is a thrifted find from Grace Thrift.  I don't wear long skirts very often, so this was fun for a change.  Unfortunately, it doesn't have a tag inside to let me know who made it.

 My husband picked this dress out to use as a tablecloth.  He's always picking out pretty prints to use as tablecloths for tiny tables in his room.  Before this happens though, I get a chance to wear it for a day.  This dress has a southwestern look to it, so I decided to pair it with turquoise accessories.

Surya Skirt and Blouse Set

I found this gorgeous blouse and skirt set at American Way Thrift Store.  The top is the most beautiful pale pink, with palm trees and a little purple detailing.  I love palm trees and pink, so this is the perfect top for me!  This outfit is probably from the eighties, it just has that look about it.  I am not as big a fan of the skirt, but I decided I should wear the complete set at least once.  The fabric of the skirt wrinkles terribly, and the fuller cut is just not as flattering on me, I think.  But, I think the top is like a work of art, so well worth it!  I plan on wearing this top with a lot of other skirts, pants, etc.

Floral Maxi Dress

I love the coral color of this maxi dress by Forever 21.  The bronze beading about the bust if also beautiful, and it matched well with my coin necklace that I purchased from Target a few years back. My only complaint is that it's too long and I ended up having to wear tall wedges so it would not drag the ground.  I plan on hemming my dress shorter before the next time I wear it.
