Shein Green Denim Jacket

I'm wearing this green denim jacket in a size small. The fit is very good. The sleeves are on the shorter size so if you have arms longer than mine or are taller than me you may have a problem with that. 

The jacket is made of denim but denim and is very thin making this perfect for hotter summer days. I always like to have a jacket with me, especially when dining out.  I always get so cold in restaurants!  Even when grocery shopping in the summer it can be a problem, so this jacket is perfect for that!

 I love the color it is such a great unique shade of green for a denim jacket. It has a raw edge hem and two working pockets on the front.

I thought the jacket looked so good with these jeans that I'm wearing that are also from Shein, but I think the jacket will also look cute with different skirts and pants and even over cute summer dresses.

Shein Pink Ruffle Blouse

The shade of pink of this ruffle blouse from Shein is so beautiful and I know I'm can be able to wear with so many different skirts and pants that I already have in my wardrobe.  For this look I am wearing a skirt I purchased in the L.A. fashion district.

The fabric is so amazingly thin and sheer it's almost like Gossamer.  I worked on a hot day recently and was very comfortable. You just slip the blouse over her head and the neck has one button at the back.  The fabric does not have any stretch.  I'm wearing a size small in the fit is perfect.  Because of all the ruffles down the front I did not even need to wear a bra or an undershirt with this blouse. Even though the fabric is very thin I could see wearing this into the fall with a beautiful cardigan over the top.

LovelyWholesale Red Pants

I love how unique these red pants from Lovelywholesale are!  I think they will be great for dancing salsa!  I am wearing a size small, and the fit is pretty much perfect.  I was very happy to discover they are high-waisted.  They are made from a thick, stretchy material, and have a zipper up the back. I think the fabric these are made from will work well for wearing all year around. These pants come in sizes small to XXL.

The pieces on the bottom of the legs are raw-edged, so it is easy to trip them a little shorter if needed.  I ended up trimming mine just a little. 

I am wearing the pants with this blouse that was a thrift find, but I am looking forward to styling these with lots of other tops in my wardrobe.

Shein Pink Plaid Dress

My favorite thing about this dress is the sleeves. They fit me perfectly, and are so dramatic! 

I have been wanting a few more items in my wardrobe with sleeves like these since they have become so popular this past year.

The shade of pink is so pretty, and especially perfect for spring, but I can see wearing this in fall and winter as well.  I love the belt that comes with the dress, and I like that it is not attached so it can be worn without a belt, or with different belts to change up the look.

The fabric is thick, and not see-through at all. It also has stretch, and a long zipper up the back.  I am wearing a size large and the fit is very good. If I could change anything it would be to make it just a little looser in the waist and hip area.  I usually wear a size small, so you need to size up when ordering.

Noracora Black and White Lace Tunic

I am wearing this Noracora lace tunic (Product ID: SH6Q346D) in a size small.  The fit is very good.  The top fastens with two buttons at the back of the neck, and is just slipped over the head. The lace is a raw cut so if it is longer in the sleeves or bottom hem than needed, it would be really easy to just cut off a little length to get the right fit.

The weight of the lace fabric is perfect for the cooler days we have been having here in Virginia the past week.  The lace feels sturdy, and on the thicker side.  I am hoping it holds up well!

I decided to wear the top over a plain, black dress, though I also think it will work well over different colors, and with with pants.  For this look, I went with black and white accessories to match.  I think pearls look great to bring out the white of the tunic.  Also, wearing a belt and cinching in the waist could really change the look.

The tunic also comes in three other colors that are especially perfect for fall.

Shein Blue Lace Dress

I'm wearing this is Shein blue lace dress and a size small and the fit is perfect it's like it has been tailored to fit me.  I love the shade of blue it is so perfect especially for Spring and summer.  This dress also comes in three other colors; red, pink and yellow!  They are all gorgeous!

I love this large type of lace the one downside is that it does tinting it snag on things but that's just the nature of this Type of lace.  This is one dress that I intend to keep for many years to come as long as I can fit in it. The dress doesn't have any stretch but it zips up the back.  I love how this dress showcases my shoulders perfectly it's not a cut that I usually wear but I definitely like it.  

I'm looking for to styling this Shein in a lot of different ways in the future but I definitely love pearls. I think pearls are the perfect jewelry to wear with this dress.

Shein Back To School Outfit Idea

Today I'm sharing a few cute Pieces from Shein for the back-to-school season.  I'm wearing this T-shirt in a size medium, and the fit is so comfortable!  I had seen T-shirts similar to this in the past, that are made to look like a shopping bag, and I thought they were so cute!  I like fun and quirky things like this, sometimes.  I'm usually not a basic T-shirt kind of gal, but, once in a while, it's fun to dress in casual clothes. 

I was so thrilled that these paperbag waist jeans fit me perfectly! I am wearing a size medium. It has always been hard for me to find pants that fit me well, especially now that I have gone up several sizes in the hips.  The paper bag waist with the self-tie belt is a cute touch to a basic pair of jeans as well.  My hips are now about 39", and the size fit me perfectly.  It's amazing when you can find a pair of jeans (or any kind of  pants, for that matter) that fit you in the hips as well as the waist.  As far as the inseam, it was easy to just roll them up one more time to get the perfect length for my 5' 2" frame.  These are officially one of my favorite pair of jeans I've ever owned.  I usually find jeans pretty uncomfortable, but, because of the stretch and the material these are definitely some of the most comfortable ones I have ever worn .  

If I could change just one thing, it would be to make the denim lining of the pockets a little bit wider, because sometimes the white lining and not the denim shows. Most people are huge fans of pockets, but I actually don't really use them very often, so one thing I could do is just sew them shut, and I wouldn't be bothered by that.  

My waist is about 27" around, by the way.  If your measurements are anything like mine, I would say definitely get these jeans.  

I was also so thrilled to find a pair that are high-waisted. I think these are the first high-waisted jeans I've ever owned, as well.  That's another thing that is even harder to find, is a pair of high-waisted jeans that fit you AND are comfortable. These have everything going for them.  

And I am also glad that they did not have any rips or tears in them, as I'm not a fan of that look.

Lovelywholesale Colorful Animal Print Set

I love how fun and colorful this pant and top set by Lovelywholesale is.  I was happy to discover that the fabric is not see through and is very comfortable.  I'm wearing a size large and it ended up being too big for me. I wish I paid closer attention to the measurements but I wanted the large to play it safe.  

Since the pants have an attached belt it was easy to cinch in the waist to get the correct fit in spite of the set being a size or so to large.  The legs on the other hand are too long for me as I am only 5' 2.  Even with heels it's still too long but that's not a problem for me as I can just take a little bit off the ends when I hem the pants.  I'm really happy with the quality of this sets!  If you're looking for a fun outfit I think this is a really good choice.  At only $13.49, I can say this is a really good deal.

Pink Tie-Dye Dress

I decided to wear one of my burgundy turbans with this tie dye dress. I thought the turban match to very well with the colors in the dress.  I added a pin to my turban for extra flair.  That is something I like to do most of the time when I do wear a turban.

  

I have not been wearing my turbans a lot this summer but I think I will again once it gets colder.  I have several really beautiful velvet ones that I like to wear.

Dresses like this are comfortable to wear during the summer time unfortunately this one is just a little bit too long for me.

Tropical Print Pants

I found these pants several weeks ago at good will and I decided to pair them with this top that I bought this year.  I thought they matched the kind of pink purple color of the top very well.  The funny thing is I was wearing these pants when I went back to goodwill a few weeks later and I saw the belt hanging up for sale.  When I went to the counter to purchase the belt the cashier it to me for free.

 Fun things like that are why I love going to thrift stores.  Like, what are the chances I would've been wearing the pants the same day that I discovered the missing belt?

 Vaughan pointed out that I could wear the belt as a scarf or a top and I tried it as a top and it works fabulously.   That alone makes this such a versatile to piece to take on a vacation.

 

Cchui White Slip

This slip from Cchui is so super soft, and comfortable.  It comes in five other colors, as well.  I went with white because I already had black, and nude slips.  This slip is versatile because it can be used as a nightgown, as well.  I have not felt a much softer fabric.  It is made from 100% modal, which I only recently heard of.

 I'm wearing this slip in a size medium and the fit is relaxed but comfortable, and pretty much perfect.  The straps are adjustable, so I was able to get the perfect fit for me.

 I have several sheer dresses that I know I can wear this with.  This would be the perfect slip dress to travel with because you can wear it is a night gown you can wear it underneath sheer dresses you could wear it as a cover up at the beach.  And that only $13.99 I think this is a really good deal does include a matching thong.

Popjulia Red Handbag

This red bag (Product ID: 416102) from PopJulia is very different than any other bags I have in my collection already.  The bag comes with a shoulder strap that is removable and that also has the tassel on the handle and a zipper pocket inside the bag.  

When the bag arrived it was kind of crushed and wrinkled at the corner but luckily I was able to look up how to remove wrinkles out of a full leather. I just use a hair dryer on hot and was able to remove the wrinkles very well, I don't even think you can see them in these photos. Keep that in mind if you ever have anything that needs the wrinkles removed that is a fake leather such as this purse. 

For being a synthetic leather I must say this person looks a very much like the real thing. I believe this is my 6th bag from pop Julia and I I'm very happy with all of them.

Shein Red Pleated Skirt

I'm wearing this red pleated skirt (Search ID 665156) by Shein and a size medium. My waist is now around 27" so it could have actually been a little looser in my opinion for comfort but I don't think you would bother most people. 

 The fabric the skirt is made of doesn't seem to wrinkle very much.  That is always something I look for when picking out clothing and something I'm always happy to discover.  This skirt is such a great basic because it can go with so many different colors and types of tops. 

 I also think that it is good to wear in several different seasons. The skirt has an actual working drawstring.  I thought I noticed a little asymmetry to the hem but I'm not really seeing it in these photos.  I am 5'2',  so this skirt is almost a maxi length on me.  I had been wanting a red skirt like this for a while so I'm very happy!

Shein Knot Front Off Shoulder Top & Tiered Layered Skirt

I LOVE this ruffle skirt set! (Search ID 659080)  This is one of my favorite items ever from Shein!   I am wearing a size medium, and the fit is perfect other than it is just a little too long on me.  After taking these photos, I decided to simply cut off the bottom ruffle, and now I can even wear the skirt with flats.  

This set is so fun, and perfect for a summer vacation!  I already wore mine to film a salsa dance video.  The movement in the skirt makes this perfect for dancing!  

The set also comes in blue, which is very pretty.  I think I want to get the blue set, too!

I am looking forward to paring the skirt and top with other things in my wardrobe.  I love a two-piece set for that reason!  There are so many ways to wear them!
