When you work out for just five minutes, you may find that you feel way happier. When you get moving around, you’ll find that your brain releases serotonin and norepinephrine. It also releases dopamine as well. This will make you feel great, so if you just don’t feel like doing anything, you should go for a walk as it will make you feel much happier overall.

Studies have shown that only 14% of people use exercise as a way of dealing with stress. Believe it or not, it only takes a few minutes for you to feel better and you don’t even need to work out intensively either. In fact, low to moderate exercise is way better when it comes to stress reduction.  If you don’t feel comfortable working out, then remember that sometimes it helps to change the clothes you are wearing. It may be that you need to invest in some sexy jogging pants, or that you need to buy yourself some new workout trainers. Either way, this is a fantastic way for you to make yourself feel way better about working out in general. Playing music is also a great way to boost motivation.

Mental Resilience

On the flip side, when you workout in a way that pushes you to the edge in a physical way, you will soon find that you become mentally tougher. When you are mentally tougher, you will be able to handle way more stress. For some people, being able to develop a high standard of mental resilience can be addictive. You may find that you can reach your goals way better and that you start wondering what else you are capable of. This is ideal if you want to push the level of mental toughness you have so you need to keep that in mind if you’re struggling with motivation.

Life Gets Easier

When you become physically fit, you may find that things become easier in their own way. It may be that the groceries become easier to carry around or that you don’t need to worry about lifting heavier items as much. Exercise can radically change your life and it can also give you a huge amount of increased strength as well. This can work wonders for your cardiovascular health and it can also give you the mental boost you need to really push yourself to achieve great things. If you have never worked out before then you may find it intimidating, so stick to the things that you can do. This could include practicing yoga indoors or even trying to jump on your old exercise bike so you can burn a few calories. Either way, this is a fantastic way for you to push yourself more than ever before.
