This is going to be perfect for fall because of the dark colors.
I could totally see wearing this in late summer and into fall the cute cardigan thrown over top or maybe even a long sleeve top or turtleneck worn underneath. There's so many different ways that you could style this dress.
If you don't want it to be super full, you could always wear a belt to add a little definition to your waist.
This dress is cotton or a cotton blend and it feels like a thicker, sturdier fabric and it feels like something that will be comfortable on humid days, too, but also still thick enough for when the weather does turn cooler, making this a great transitional piece.
For this look, I decided to keep it mostly simple. I just wore some neutral color heels.
I'm wearing a size small and the fit is good. It is over-sized, of course so you could even wear this as a maternity dress. The straps are adjustable.
