Tayvian Jewelry Set

I bought this dress just as fall was beginning, so I was happy to have a chance to wear it before next summer.  It was so warm and beautiful this past weekend in Virginia Beach.    I wore this outfit my first day there.

My dress is from Roses, which is one of my favorite places to shop for dresses.

My shoes are also from Roses.  I bought these in pink.

My jewelry set is by Tayvian.  The choker is my favorite part, because it's so comfortable to wear.  Sometimes chokers can fell a little restrictive, but I forget I'm even wearing this one.

The slave bracelet was a way loose when I got it, so I have to take some of the chain out to get a tighter fit.  I do like the look, though.  I think it adds a "boho" feel to this outfit.

I'm till loving this hat I got from Family Dollar.  I know I'll be wearing this all fall and winter long. It's such a perfect, basic color.  I can wear it with pretty much any of my fall clothing choices, like this outfit I wore for a day out in Farmville.

Vaughan and I just got back from spending the weekend in Virginia Beach.  It was in the 80's today, and such a wonderful time to be there!

I'm wearing my new Caperci necklace and bracelet.  I especially love this CZ tennis bracelet!  A tennis bracelet like this is a must-have for formal wear.  I have another similar one that I have worn so many times in the past.  This one has even larger stones, and shines brilliantly.   The necklace is very beautiful, too.  It's blue stone is a very pretty, unique shade.  I know I'll be wearing this one a lot, too.

For today's post I'm wearing my new Jack & Gina sports bra.  This one is very stretchy and comfortable, and it has removable padding.  Some sports bras are just too tight to be comfortable and to take on and off, this one is not like those.

This soft is so soft and comfortable.  I ordered a size medium and it fit me very well, with room to spare.  This top looked great with pants, and it can be dressed up or down because the ruching really adds a dressy touch to the style.  I have always been a fan of ruching, so I really like this top.  The green color I bought it a very interesting shade.  I think it will look good for pretty much any season.

Last Minute Halloween Costume Idea with SheIn

For today's post, I am showing a last minute Halloween costume idea.  I am wearing an off-shoulder dress with scalloped edging by SheIn.   With a basic dress like this, there are many different ways to create a unique costume.  For this look, I went with a Día de los Muertos look.  I have always wanted to try this look for Halloween.  I already had the flower crown on hand, and I found the "makeup" tattoos for just $1 at Dollar General!  I must warn you, though, it did take a bit of scrubbing to remove the face tattoos!
