I'm loving my new WearMe Pro mirrored aviators.  These are a little looser than some I've been wearing recently, but they still stay on and are comfortable.  The blue mirrored lenses are beautiful, and they provide the perfect amount of shading from the sun.

The Steve Madden watch I'm wearing is supposed to be for men, but I just had to keep this watch for myself.  The large, gold faced frame is just gorgeous!  The band is made from a beautiful, tan leather, and I also really love the fact that the numerals are  plain Arabic.  I much prefer them to the Roman numerals that are  so common, or to the watch faces that have no numbers at all - just lines where the numbers should be.

This watch is very heavy!  It really feels like a solid, quality piece.  I think I'll be wearing the wristwatch for years to come.

This tiny charm bracelet is very cute, with all its eclectic charms!  Thanks to all the different colors, I can see wearing this with a lot of different outfits in the future.  If you like charms and beads, this is definitely a cute choice!

This pink wristlet is such a pretty shade of pink.  It has an adorable, contrasting lining of dark plaid, and beautiful, gold zipper detailing.  The pocket inside holds most cell phones, and there's space for credit cards, and ID's.  The back, zippered pocket can hold cash or coins.  Perhaps the best feature of this wristlet is that it includes RFID protection!

I love wristlets!  They are so much more comfortable to use than a huge purse, on a lot of occasions.

There are a lot of other color options, too!

Product Review Roundup 8/5

This Maxam pocket knife is lighter-weight than one knife I own, and heavier then one that I paid about $2.00 for.  This feels like a nice, sturdy piece and the blade is also very nice and sharp.
One slight disappointment is that this knife is supposed to glow in the dark, but it doesn't appear to.  I even held it up to a light bulb to absorb light and it didn't help.

The back of this knife has a belt clip.  The blade itself is around 3 inches long, which I think is pretty standard.  The handle is texturized to help with gripping.

This lamp is the second heaviest lamp my husband and I own. The heaviest is a lamp as big as I am, which we have in our living room, that looks like it belongs in a five-star hotel.

This lamp consists of a round base with three sections, each about eighteen inches long, joined by elbow-like joints. The furthest section from the base is the lamp itself. The other two section are arms which hold the lamp up. The elbows are stiff enough to hold the lamp in an infinite range of positions.

The base is about an inch thick, and of solid, heavy metal. The lower arms are of the same, heavy material. Altogether, this lamp weighs about ten pounds.

As soon as my husband saw this lamp on his desk, he grabbed it by one of its arms and tried to lift it. It came off the bask instantly. I immediately screwed it back on tightly, with a tiny screwdriver, to prevent that from happening again.

As my husband experimented with the lamp, bending the elbows into various positions, he soon discovered that it is easy to accidentally turn the lamp on or off, since it is activate by a shiny, metal ring at the joint between the lamp and the next arm.

A dial on top of the lamp section allows it to easily be dimmed or brightened.

I like the fact that this USB charger to two ports.  I don't know about you, but there never seems to be enough USB ports for me these days.  I need one for my Garmin, and one for my phone, at least.
This dual charger by Meagoes comes with a lightning cable that has a handy little rubber tie to secure the cable when not in use.
You really can't have too many of these USB chargers lying around, as far as I'm concerned.  I keep one in my purse, and at least one in each vehicle I use.

I gave this Steve Madden watch to my father as a gift.  The black mesh, metal band is stylish and unique.  I could see wearing this with a lot of different looks.  This watch has the day of the month feature, which is nice.

The band was a little confusing to open and close at first, but my father soon figured it out.  The clasp is similar to a side release buckle.

This watch feels strong and durable, so hopefully my father will be able to enjoy it for years to come.

https://www.facebook.com/libertadbgreen/posts/10154065976766284 Retro Industrial Ceiling Light
This ceiling lamp by Oak Leaf looks like it would make the perfect addition to a bar or library.  It has an old-fashioned, masculine look and feel to it.  I like the matte black with the brass accents.   It goes well with the brushed, Mediterranean brass fixtures in one of our bathrooms.  The base, which is the part that goes against the ceiling, looks like a simple, metal disc.  The hood is plain and cylindrical.  This rugged simplicity is ideal for men who, like my husband, are all about "function before fashion," although this look is a fashion statement of its own.

Retro Edison LED Light Bulb
The light bulb shown in this, lamp is a four Watt, antique LED, Thomas Edison Bulb, designed to resemble vintage bulbs such as the ones Thomas Edison invented circa 1880.  The brand name of this modern version of the antique bulb is also, like the lamp, Oak Leaf.  The bulb is 5.9 inches long, and has a diameter of 2.5 inches.  It emits 330 lumens, and has a lifespan of 30,000 hours.  The glass bulb seems thicker and less likely to break than most modern light bulbs.  It is both sturdier and more stylish than the Mercury-filled pigtail bulbs which replaced "normal" bulbs between 2007 and 2014, and serves as a ideal complement to the old-fashioned ceiling lamp.

Milkuu Flag Shirt

These Tantino sunglasses are some of the coolest, most fun I own! I love the fact that they are SO huge! I think these are great for anyone that is not afraid to have fun with fashion. If you love collecting different styles of sunglasses, then you should probably give these a try. They are certainly the largest I have ever seen. The glass come with a nice, soft case to store them in. I think these glasses feel pretty sturdy, especially considering how huge they are.
I this is my favorite pair of Tantino sunglasses, yet!

I love this beautiful, patriotic top by Milkuu.  It's very soft and comfortable, and I can see wearing it a lot throughout the summer.  The fabric is lightweight, but not see-through.  The large, v neckline adds a dressy touch to the casual tee. This would be a great travel tee, it's so thin to pack and it would be easy to wash and dry in no time.

Tantino Flat Top Retro Sunglasses

For today's look, I am wearing my new Tantino Flat Top retro sunglasses with gradient black lens.
The frames feel chunky and solid, like they are going to be strong and durable.  These glasses fit my face comfortably, and don't slide off.  I like the flat top shape, it makes these glasses a unique addition to an already huge sunglasses collection. I think they look great!

Beauty Product Review Roundup 8/2

This tiny tool is a bit pricey, but I do think it will last a lot longer than a loofah or other brushes will.
I used this tool in the shower and did notice a difference in my skin.  It's a little odd at first to be scraping this metal tool on your skin, so I think it's going to take a little getting used to before I am completely comfortable with it.

The handle is comfortable and easy to hold, and I like the pink color for this exfoliator. I also like that it's small and easy to pack for travel.

The one-piece fit me very well. I am about 115, 5'2 and 32B/26/36. It's true the color is a little darker than it looks in the photos on Amazon. The straps that tie around the back and neck could have a been a tad longer on this item. The crotch/thong is a little large for me, too. But, overall I think this is a cute piece and it fit me fairly well.

This organic hair gel has a very strong lemon scent, it's almost like lemon candy. If you don't like the smell of lemons, this is not for you.  I happen to like the scent in this case.  The bottle of gel says to shake well before use, I think this makes is different from most gels.  The gel is certified organic, vegan and cruelty free, non-GMO, gluten free, petroleum gel free, paraben, chemical and synthetic free.

I use gel on my hair pretty much every time I wash it, and sometimes in between for tame frizz.  This gels worked well to tame some of my frizz.  I would say it does not have the "hold" that most traditional gels have.  This seems more like a cream gel than pure gel, but overall I still like the product.

Vivant Skincare Maxilip Plumper
I have used this plumper several times now and I do think it provides a noticeable, if slight difference in the fullness of my lips.  I like the chap stick tube as opposed to most plumpers that come with a tube and brush.  The stick is much more convenient.   Yes, this plumper stings.  Just like most any other plumper.  It's a little unpleasant, but not too bad.  I am careful not to get it outside my lip line because that's when it becomes even more unpleasant.  This plumper actually feels moisturizing, and it clear so it won't affect the lipgloss/lipstick you chose to wear over it (if any).
