Beauty Product Review Roundup 8/2

Sponsored:

This tiny tool is a bit pricey, but I do think it will last a lot longer than a loofah or other brushes will.
I used this tool in the shower and did notice a difference in my skin.  It's a little odd at first to be scraping this metal tool on your skin, so I think it's going to take a little getting used to before I am completely comfortable with it.

The handle is comfortable and easy to hold, and I like the pink color for this exfoliator. I also like that it's small and easy to pack for travel.

The one-piece fit me very well. I am about 115, 5'2 and 32B/26/36. It's true the color is a little darker than it looks in the photos on Amazon. The straps that tie around the back and neck could have a been a tad longer on this item. The crotch/thong is a little large for me, too. But, overall I think this is a cute piece and it fit me fairly well.

This organic hair gel has a very strong lemon scent, it's almost like lemon candy. If you don't like the smell of lemons, this is not for you.  I happen to like the scent in this case.  The bottle of gel says to shake well before use, I think this makes is different from most gels.  The gel is certified organic, vegan and cruelty free, non-GMO, gluten free, petroleum gel free, paraben, chemical and synthetic free.

I use gel on my hair pretty much every time I wash it, and sometimes in between for tame frizz.  This gels worked well to tame some of my frizz.  I would say it does not have the "hold" that most traditional gels have.  This seems more like a cream gel than pure gel, but overall I still like the product.

Vivant Skincare Maxilip Plumper
I have used this plumper several times now and I do think it provides a noticeable, if slight difference in the fullness of my lips.  I like the chap stick tube as opposed to most plumpers that come with a tube and brush.  The stick is much more convenient.   Yes, this plumper stings.  Just like most any other plumper.  It's a little unpleasant, but not too bad.  I am careful not to get it outside my lip line because that's when it becomes even more unpleasant.  This plumper actually feels moisturizing, and it clear so it won't affect the lipgloss/lipstick you chose to wear over it (if any).
