Orogold Cosmetics Beauty Products Review

This Orogold Cosmetic gift set for women comes in a white box with golden trim - ideal for gift giving this holiday season.  Everything about the set, including the box just feels like luxury.  The scent of the items is especially nice.

This kit contains three items:  "Foaming Cleanser," "24K Deep Day Moisturizer," and a "Salt Souffle."  I'm not sure what twenty-four karat gold or soufles have to do with these products; they don't actually contain gold or eggs.  Also, the name "Orogold" is redundant; "oro" is Spanish for "gold."

However, these products do look luxurious on my vanity - pearly white, trimmed with gold.

The Foaming Cleanser unfortunately is my least favorite item, as it did not really seem to foam for me. I use moisturizer religiously, especially in the winter when my skin becomes particularly dry.  I've tried innumerable moisturizers.  This moisturizer is among the best.
The salt souffle is an exfoliant completes this set.

Next up, we have the Orogold "White Gold 24K Hand and Body Cream" comes in a tube instead of a jar, but doesn't seem to be significantly different than any of Orogold's other creams.  I love using this on my hands, especially.  The tube is small enough to take in my bag for daily use.

Finally we have the Orogold White Gold Deep Face Moisurizer is not the same as Orogold's "24K Deep Day Moisturizer," as this is for the face.  The scent is fantastic!
This moisturizer comes in a spherical jar the approximate size of a tennis ball.  It looks like a gigantic, gold-trimmed pearl on my vanity.
I use it regularly.  It would also make a great gift.

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro "Oh! Orange!" Review

Color:  I just love the the subtle orange tint that Baby Lips "Oh! Orange!" give my lips!  I think this will be a perfect look for spring and summer.

Flavor:  I could do without the orange flavoring, but it's not terrible.

Scent:  The scent is nice, if you like oranges.  I don't mind this scent, as it's not too overwhelming.

Texture:  Nice and creamy!

Durability: I have not found myself needing to constantly reapply.

Packaging: Nothing special. Same cute Baby Lips packaging.

Price:  I paid $1.00 at Dollar Tree.

ColorMates Lip Crayon "Soft Plum" Review

I am wearing my recently purchased ColorMates Lip Crayon in "Soft Plum"This is one of my new favorite lip colors!

Color:  I thought this would be a little darker when I saw it in the package, but I am actually pleasantly surprised that the color is lighter, almost a neutral.

Flavor:
There's no special flavoring to this crayon.

Scent:
There's no scent that I can detect.

Texture:
I adore the texture of this lip crayon!  Having tried a few other brands in the past, I thought crayon tended to be a little on the waxy side.  But, this crayon is very light and smooth, it feels great on my lips!

Durability:
The colors seems to stain and last very well.

Packaging:
I love the twist up crayon!  The cap stays on tight so I don't foresee in accidents in my purse.

1.00

e.l.f. Pout Perfecter in "Glow" Review

For today's review, I'm wearing e.l.f. Pout Perfecter in "Glow".  Overall, I am happy with this product.

Color:  The color is actually even more beautiful in the tube than it is on.  It's gorgeous, which is why I bought it.  I suppose I wish it had been a little darker and less glossy/nude like it is upon actual application.

Flavor:  No special flavoring.

Scent:  No detectable scent.

Texture:  Ugh, the texture is my least favorite part of this gloss.  It's thick and sticky.  I like smoother, creamier textures.

Durability: The gloss is so pale there's really not much staining going on, so you'll need to reapply more often.

Packaging: The tube is sleek and beautiful.

Price: $1.00

ColorMates Long Lasting Formula "Black Orchid" Lipstick Review

I wanted to try the brown lipstick trend I have been seeing online, so I set out to find a new lipstick.  This brown shade by ColorMates was just $1.00 at Dollar Tree.  Not too bad a price to pay for trying something I was not sure I would like on me!

Color:  I like this brown shade on me.  I thought I was too pale to be able to "pull off" such a dark shade, but I think it actually looks pretty good.  The color can be a little patchy, so make sure you apply it well.

Flavor:  There is no special flavoring to this lipstick.

Scent:  There is not scent to this lipstick, which is fine by me.  Sometimes it's nice not having any odd scents.

Texture:  The texture is smooth and creamy, just like I like my lipsticks to feel.

Durability: The color lasts fairly well, but if you are like me, I tend to reapply often, anyway.

Packaging: The cap stays on very securely, so I don't expect to have any accidents if I toss this tube in my purse.

Price: $1.00
What on your thought on brown lipstick?  Have you tried it?  Do you like the color on yourself?

L.A. Colors Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo "Pleasure" Review

I'm wearing L.A. Colors Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo in "Pleasure" for the lipstick review.

Color:  The color is a beautiful, orange/red shade.

Flavor:  The lipstick does not really have much of a flavor, which I prefer.  I'd rather not be constantly tasting fruit or any other flavor.

Scent: Both the lipstick and the gloss smell like bubblegum.  I actually love the smell, but I know to some people that can be a huge turn-off.  My mother is one of those people for instance. She hates fruity tasting lipsticks.

Durability:  The lipstick is rich and smooth, and the color is highly pigmented, so the color is slow to fade.

Packaging:  The packaging is sleek and pretty.  I really like the option of using the gloss, lipstick, or both and having it in the same container.
