Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center

For Christmas 2016, Vaughan and I decided to stay at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center.  They have an onsite restaurant, the Tradewinds, though we chose not to eat there during our stay.

The daily rate for our room, with a balcony and view of the bay, was under $60 a night!  The room was a suite, with a separate bedroom area.

 Vaughan and I have found that Virginia Beach is a great place to stay during the off-season.  The prices are amazing, and it is still such a fun and beautiful place to visit.

The best thing about the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center is that all 295 rooms have a bay view because of the unique design of the building.  

One of the worst things was the so-called beach access, which required us to walk a long way around the hotel, towards the street and the front of the building, and on a dark alley of sand beside the hotel in order to reach the beach.

Soufeel Holiday Charm Bracelet

This beautiful charm bracelet came in the mail from Soufeel just the other day.  This is my second bracelet by Soufeel, my other is summer/tropical themed.  This time, I went for these four beautiful, Holiday themed charms.  The sterling silver snowflake is one of my favorites!  It's so pretty!  

Just like when I received my last bracelet, it came in a beautiful white box with a blue ribbon, and a nice bag was also included in case I wanted to give this as a gift.  It really is a lovely gift idea!
