The dress has elastic at the shoulders and it stays up perfectly on it's own, but it also comes with a pair of clear straps that are detachable if you feel any to use them.
The dress is a comfortable, stretchy fabric, but it also has a zipper up the back. I'm wearing a size medium and the fit is perfect. The only thing that is too large on me is the little point of the ruffles at the back of the dress. Because I'm only 5' 2, it's a little bit long on me, even with taller heels it still dragged to the ground.
This dress comes in sizes medium, large and double extra large. This is a beautiful cut of dress and I think it's a good one to wear all year around. It's beautiful for dinner out but also comfortable enough to wear around the house.
