Shein Beige Sweater and Skirt Set

I just love this sweater set from Shein!  The neutral color is great because I can wear each item separately with different colors, tops, and bottoms I already own.  

I had been looking for a nice, beige sweater-type skirt, so I was thrilled when I came across this set on the Shein website!

The knit is so thick, and comfortable, and it really does feel like great quality.  The fabric says it is acrylic, but it feels amazingly like cotton.  I am very happy with the feel, regardless.   This is one of the top items I have received from Shein, in my opinion.

I am wearing a size medium, and the fit of both the top and bottom is pretty much perfect.  My waist is about 26 inches, so if you are much larger than that, you may find the medium to be a little uncomfortable.

Leopard Pants

It was a very pretty and mild day here in southern Virginia.  Its going to be a lot colder tomorrow, though!

Are you looking forward to spring if you are in the same season?  I am not sure.  With warmer weather, there also comes the humidity, and bugs here in Virginia.  I am thinking I may actually be liking the colder weather, better!  At least while living in this state!

Green Velvet Wrap Dress

For today's post, I am wearing my new velvet dress from Shein.  I just love the rich, gorgeous green color!  This will be perfect to wear this St. Patrick's Day!

 It would also be very pretty to wear next Christmas...I could add some red and white accessories to go all out with the holiday colors!

I am wearing a size small, and the fit it perfect for me.  The dress is a true wrap dress, and the fabric feels nice, and thick.  The quality of this dress is great!  I am so happy with it!  I love that is can be dresssed up, or down.  This would look just as great with boots, and a nice jacket, or heels for date night.

Black and White Plaid Jacket

This is one of the outfits I wore on our last day at the Biltmore.  I pretty much wore my flats the whole time.  I wanted to bw comfortable for any walking we would end up doing.  

The Christmas tree behind me is one that was just outside of the Village Hotel.  It was a perfect place to stop and take a few photos!

Vaughan wore a coat my mother bought him last year.  We bought new buttons for it online, and made the coat into a triple-breasted one.  I think it turned out great!

 

Initial Strapless Dress

I hope 2019 have been going great for everyone!  So far, I have just been spending time at home. I am currently running a deep scan on my photo recovery software to hopefully recover photos that I took Christmas day.  Fingers crossed, I will get everything back!

For today's post, I am wearing my new, green dress from Initial.

The fabric of this dress is thicker than most, making it possible to wear for every season.  I just added a sweater, and hose, and it was appropriate for some of the warmer days we have been having.  Because of the white details, I decided to go with my off-white sweater, and a necklace to match.

This dress comes in seven other colors, and sizes XS to XXL.   I am wearing a size small, and the first is perfect for me.  There is plenty of room in the hip area, and the bust area is of course, very stretchy.  That is one of the benefits of this style of dress.

Shein 2019 Wishlist

I am going to start off with this statement jumpsuit.  I just adore this fringe, and the shade of pink.  I think this would be a really hot look for Valentine's Day!  I really want this for a salsa dancing date!

The movement would be so fantastic!

These earrings are such a great deal at only $3!  My favorite part is the colorful rectangle.  Because of all the color, these would match well with so many things in my wardrobe. I can see wearing these on a summer vacation to somewhere nice and warm!

I particularly love the color, size and shape of this leopard print.  Not all leopard prints look great, but this is one of my favorites.  I also love the shape of the dress.  It would be perfect for retro pin-up modeling, but also can be worn for a modern look.  It's a classic style that will look great for years to come.

Back to summer styles... How adorable are all the ruffles on this top and skirt set?  I love sets like this, because the pieces look great together, or worn with other items already in your wardrobe.

This is another item I can see salsa dancing in!

Now for another pair of earrings...and these are just $2!  I love the bold, black and white combination.  These will go with so many different looks.  But, they also come in several other colors, and at this price, you can afford them all!

Last but not least, this adorable pink flamingo swimsuit!  As some of you may now, I have a "tiki bar" and it has lots of pink flamingos as decor around the room.  I love pink flamingos, so I can see wearing this swimsuit to the Florida for vacation!

Happy New Year!

The first day of the year started off well here in southern Virginia.  It was a very mild day, with a high near 70 degrees!  I hope we have more weather like this!
