Orange and Black Print Blouse

I love these sunglasses that I bought this summer from Five Below.  They are such a pretty color, and the lenses are great, too!

The blouse I am wearing is one I bought from the L.A. fashion district.  I think I have two more like it, but in a different color and print. 

I also love the watch I am wearing.  It is rose gold, and black, and it came from Roses.  They always have such cool accessories there!  I have a few shopping hauls I will be filming and adding to my Youtube channel soon, so stay tuned!

The pants I some I have had for year.  I added the buttons, myself, to create a "nautical" look.  

And last, but not least, the mules are a pair I bought new at the Goodwill store this year.

Xiaolizi Navy Blue Wool Midi Coat with Hood

I think the best feature of this coat for me is the hood.  It actually fits me!  So often, I find that hoods are too small or short to fit me comfortably, so I am thrilled that is not the case with this navy blue wool blend coat from Xiaolizi. The coat also comes with seam pockets.

The coat is made slightly longer in the back, which I find to be a nice feature.  It is a classic style, which I can see wearing for many years to come.  A coat like this is appropriate to wear for most any occasion.  It also comes in green and red, if you are looking for a less traditional color.  The fabric is nice, thick, and does not feel itchy on my skin.  It will really work to keep you warm in the cold months, and its it not made from the thin, felt-like fabric that some coats I have bought online have been made from.

Black and White Striped Tank Top

I hope everyone had a nice weekend!  I have had a pretty lazy day.  I did not feel like doing much, but I did want to make sure I shared another post for tonight.

I am wearing a top I bought from Fallas, and a skirt from Goodwill.  The shoes were from 

Walmart and I bought them while passing through Kansas on the way back to California.  They are comfortable, and that's the most important part!

Fall 2018 Coat and outfit Ideas

For today's post, I am sharing fall and winter coat ideas from Xiaolizi.  Xiaolizi has lots of items perfect for a new fall and winter wardrobe.  The items below are just a small sample of the many dresses, coats, and skirts!  If you like classic, quality pieces, you should definitely check them out!

I love the simplicity of this next coat.  It is such a classic!  The gray is such a beautiful shade!  I could see having fun adding different belts to this coat to create all kinds of new looks.  It's fabulous on it's own, or a blank canvas for other scarves and accessories.

Xiaolizi has more than just coats. This high-waist skirt comes in brown and gray.  This would keep you warm and stylish all winter long!  I like the v-shape front.  I think it adds interest, and also has a slimming effect.

I love how full this skirt is! The light gray is pretty, but it also comes in black and red!  How pretty would red be for the holiday season?!  With basic black and gray, it would go with so many things in your wardrobe, though!

This shorter, similar skirt would also be another great choice, especially if you prefer your skirts on the shorter side.  Just like the last one, it comes in black and red, as well.
I like the fact that this one has belt loops.  I love wearing belts, so this is a nice feature.  Belts can really help to change up your look.  I can just picture a cool belt buckle showing through while wearing this with an open jacket or coat.

My favorite feature of this gray dress is the sleeve length and style.  I love my sleeves to be a little shorter because it makes it so much easier to get things done, such as washing my hands, etc.  The style is such a timeless, classy one!

And last, but not least, another dress.  This one is less conservative than the last.  I like the contrast hem detail, and the full, skater skirt.  How cute would this be for this winter?  I can see it with red or winter-white accessories.

Pink Sweater and Blue Sweater Skirt

I spent the day shopping with my family in Oxford, North Carolina.  They have a really great Roses Store down there.  It is such a great place to look for rugs, and other home decor items.  I ended up buying a really pretty one that I intend to put in my foyer.

The hat I am wearing is another one I purchased from Fallas last year.  The skirt is also from Fallas, but I bought it while I was still in California.

The sweater and plaid scarf are both bought from a thrift store.

Blue and Gold Anchor Sweater

I wore this outfit while traveling through North Carolina last Janurary.  I loved how it turned out!  The hat is one I bought for just a few dollar at Fallas.  The sweater is one I purchased from Ebay.  I just loved the anchors, and nautical look of it!  It is all cotton, which I like, because I can't stand wearing wool sweater.  I fond them to be too uncomfortable to wear

The leggings are dreamy!  The are so super soft, and I love the jewel tone of the blue color.  I bought them from Walmart last winter.

If I cam going to be casual, I like to wear things that are at least as cute as this outfit.  It was comfortable, and great to travel in.

 

Moss Green Top

These photos were taken last fall or winter, because  as you can see, the leaves were already gone from the trees.  That is not the case just yet here in Virginia this year.  Everything is still lush, green and it feels like summer.

It does look like things will be cooling down this weekend, though.  And we will also be getting rain.

I have had this top for years.  The skirt is one I bought from Salvation Army while I was in California.   I added a belt that I bought from Goodwill last year, I believe.
