Product Review Roundup 7/29

Sponsored:

This is such a handy clever device!  I so could have used this last month when I was putting up a ton of mirrors, picture and decorations all around my room, and I had to dig through my pockets to find a nail.  If you are planning on doing any work that requires a lot of nails, pins, etc., this is the perfect tool.  One thing I am not sure I would use it for it screwdrivers and larger tools, I think they don't stay on as well and may fall off and hit your foot or something, but for small things, this is perfect!
The "bracelet" is 13 inches long, so it should fit most any wrist.

LTE 10W LED Motion Sensor Light
This light is so bright, and works great.  It feels very heavy and sturdy.  I like how it's made to be plugged in because even though I like solar lights, not all place get enough sunlight to make them work.  And, even if they do work, they'll probably never be as bright as this light is.  I like this light so much I am thinking of getting several more to go all around the outside of my house.

8MM Mens Tungsten Wedding Band
This ring was a gift for my husband.  I don't know how many wedding bands he has, or has had.  He has had about a half dozen wedding bands since we've been married.  He tells me this is the most luxurious wedding band he has ever had, and I know it's the most
luxurious wedding band he has owned.  It's the thickest, widest, heaviest and seemingly densest, with the most artistic craftsmanship.  His others are all plain bands without any decoration.
This ring came in the size we ordered, based on his previous wedding bands, and it fits perfectly.

Gear Ultimate Moscow Mule Pure Copper Mug
My husband loves mixed drinks, such as Gone Fishing, Green Iguanas, and Black Pearls.  However, he had never heard of a Moscow Mule until I gave him this copper mug, and the recipe for that drink.
He tried it, and he liked it.  He substituted alcoholic ginger ale and beer for ginger beer, and used a Skyy Passion Fruit Vodka.  I even tried it, and it wasn't as bad as I, a non-beer drinker, had expected.  There was no bitter taste that I have read it sometimes associated with drinking from unlined copper.
The copper mug is ideal for him anyway, since, being from Utah, he loves copper.

 AYL Bluetooth Earphones
I gave these to my husband, who has various sets of earbuds.  He likes to play video games. This is the first set of wireless earbuds he has ever had.  He really likes them! They are wireless in that, through the magic of BlueTooth technology, he
an hear the video game he's playing with the earbuds in his ears, without them being plugged into anything else.  He tried to see how far away he could be from his smart phone, and still hear his game.  It starts to fade when he walks into the next room, and starts to break up on the other side of that room, and becomes mute two rooms away.  This might be important to know if he ever decides to listen to music through his smart phone, but is unlikely.  The only time he is likely to use the earbuds are when he's playing a game on a smart phone in his lap.

Although these earbuds function wirelessly, they come with a wire with a USB connector at one end, and a MicroUSB connector at the other.  My husband discovered that the earbuds needed to be charged before he could use them, so he connected them to his laptop for about an hour.  A red light comes on them when they are charging, and turns blue when they are fully charged.

They are a little more complicated to pair with a smart phone than any of the several devices my husband has paired with his smart phone.  Usually, he just turns on the BlueTooth application via the settings on his phone, and toggles the device he wants to pair with on, without ever looking at the instruction manual.  He "searched" for these earbuds, but couldn't "find" them.  After charging them for an hour, he still couldn't find them.  Finally, he read the instruction booklet, and, by toggling the mode bottom on the earbuds, he was able to get the light to alternate between blue and red, and while it was doing this, he was able to "find" them with
his smart phone.
Once paired, the light remains blue and slowly fades in an out while in
operation.

Hauberk RFID Blocking Mens Wallet
This was a gift for my husband.
This wallet has sections for two photo ID's, and six credit cards, as well as a large section for currency.
It appears to be made of shiny, soft, black, flexible leather.
My husband likes that it's soft and flexible, so it's comfortable when he sits on it.
I like that it's black, so it goes well with anything he might wear.

Right now, you can get a Hauberk wallet and card holder for just $19.95; that's a saving of $10 on the current price!  Just follow the link in the title above!

AYL TF 89 Flashlight
AYL has become one of my favorite companies. I gave my father one of their portable speakers, and my husband is so jealous!

This silver flashlight is another excellent product by AYL, solid and rugged, yet lightweight. I gave it to my husband, and it's now his favorite flashlight.  It is amazingly bright!

We have flashlights of various types all over our house, but this one is his favorite. He has dropped it repeatedly on our hard wood floors, and washed it off under running water, and it still works as if nothing ever happened to it.
By twisting the back end of this flashlight, you can dim it, or cause it to function as a beacon or strobe light to send SOS messages.
It can be powered by a 3.7 volt battery that comes with it, or three AAA batteries in a plastic cylinder, similar to many small flashlights we have obtained from Lowe's and Home Depot.
It comes with a charger for the 3.7 volt battery.

Last year, I bought an old box truck for our move from California to Virginia. Among other minor repairs which it needed, it had a gaping hole in the left side of the driver's seat.
This seat cover solved those problems. It fits perfectly over the driver's seat of our truck, concealing the hole in it, and never slips off, due to the snug fit, as well as the straps with hooks that my husband attached to the metal springs on the underside of the seat.
The cover is a beautiful, plush grey.

This tea was a gift for my husband, who drinks tea all day, every day.  He thinks it helps him lose weight.
He tells me this tea tastes good for black tea; he prefers herbal teas, such as peppermint tea, which have little or no caffeine.
The thing he likes the most about this tea, is that it is lose, so he can measure out as much or as little as he likes.  He uses his coffee maker with coffee filters to make this tea as strong or weak as he chooses.
The resealable pack is also a nice touch.

I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to review yet another set of these sheets.  My husband and I already have a pair in white, and we have really enjoyed using them.  The fabric is so nice, soft and comfortable.  The pockets are nice and deep.  This shade of grey is also very pretty, and goes with a lot of the other linens we already own.

Product Review Roundup 7/25

Just last year, I decided to give the whole "adult" coloring book thing a try.  I was not too happy with how the colors showed up on my pages because the pencils just leave a lot to be desired.  These pens are so bold, and flow very easily.  They are much more enjoyable to color with.  This set has glitter, neon and classic colors, so there's a lot of options to chose from.  I would definitely recommend this set over regular pencils for coloring.
The 36 pens come in a nice, res-usable container.
