We arrived in Amarillo yesterday afternoon. It was rainy and gloomy, and cold! I'm not used to this cold! Um, can I go back to southern California? The weather will take some getting used to, but worst of all is not being prepared. I got stuck in the rainy situation with no closed-toe shoes, and no jacket. Today, we went shopping to see if I could find any rain boots, but no luck. I forgot all about my combat boots that were buried in the back of our box truck, but I finally found them after we got back from shopping. Yay for closed-toe shoes!
