I first discovered this thrift store when I moved to California for a few months in 2009. It was one of the things I missed when I left California, too. I've found so many cool outfits, and things at this store!
According to the website for Disabled Veterans Thrift Stores "We are a nonprofit organization - IRS classification 501(c)(3) - that operates thrift stores to raise funds to support disabled veterans in need". And I just found this out while visiting their site...they have three other locations! Long Beach, Baldwin Park, and San Bernardino!
