Instead, I now use REAL henna, and I made my first purchase from a company based in Texas called Henna Hut. You can see their website at http://www.hennahut.com
My first try dying my hair, which has gray, turned out with most of the gray turning a darker red shade.
Not exactly the result I had hoped for, but much better than having the gray strands that really stick out in contrast to having black hair.
I price I paid, including shipping was less than $16.00. Not too bad to pay in exchange for not having gray hair, I think. Also, the order arrived a few days after I placed it, which it always great.
I just received another order. This time the two-step process of pure henna and indigo. I am hoping this will do a better job of covering the gray, which I have read is harder to cover than normal hair.
The cost this time, since it's a two-step kit, was over $21.00. Still not too much to pay to keep the gray away., though I am hoping to dye it every two months, if I can go that long without the gray coming in too fast.
