I finally got around to wearing my beautiful statement necklace from Mirina Collections. I decided to wear it with a plain maxi dress to showcase the necklace. My birthday is the 20th, and it looks like we will still be here in Kansas then, so today, I went out and bought a few things for my birthday decorations. Living in a motel room is not ideal, but we'll make the most of it. There's no bakery in town, but the local grocery store and a few frozen cake options, so it looks like that's what I will be getting for my birthday. At the local Dollar General (yes, it seems we go there everyday), I found a cute, plastic plate and cup set, a flower printed tablecloth, and some faux flowers to help decorate a table for my birthday celebrations. It looks like it will be just myself and Vaughan this year. I had other plans of where I wanted to celebrate, but at least this will be a memorable birthday!
