L.A. Colors Liquid Eyeliner

I usually love L.A. Colors products but I was pretty disappointed with this liquid eyeliner.  A few hours after my first application, the product started flaking.  It was also a little too liquid and seemed to run.  It was just $1.00 so at least I did not invest a lot.

Robin Jordan dress at the Elephant Bar

I am wearing my Robin Jordan dress at the Elephant Bar.  I like the circle pocket on the front and I think the styles looks a little like the 60's.

This is the second Elephant Bar I have been to, the other was in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  This one is in Burbank, California.  I love the decor, it is a fun place and a great place to take a few photos.  The food was great but I ordered steak, well done, and it came to me with pink in the middle.  I have a really hard time getting my steak well done when I order out.  I am thinking perhaps I should just stop ordering steak when I go out to restaurants.

Trooper jacket

This camo jacket is made by Trooper.  I bought it a few years ago meaning to use it in my acting and have not had the chance.  Lately, I also bought a beret from off Ebay and decided to take new headshots dressed as a soldier.

22 Cent Kohl's Haul

Earlier this month I received a coupon in the mail from Kohl's that was $10.00 a purchase of $10.00 or more.  Yesterday was the last day of the sale so I went to Kohl's to see what I could find to use my coupon for.  First, I found this lovely, gold necklace that looks like coins on a chain.  I live this style and it is great to wear everyday or for belly dancing costumes.  It was originally  $22.00 but it was in clearance for $4.40.  It was made by Sonoma Life and Style.  Next, I found this bright green skirt by Candie's.  It was originally $28.00 but it was on clearance for $2.80!  And last, I found this cute, pink clutch, also by Candie's.  It was originally $30.00 and it was on clearance for $3.00.  At the checkout, it all came to a grand total of 22 cents, with a total savings of $79.80!  I think this may be my most thrifty shopping trip, ever!

Westfield Topanga Free Carnival

Saturday, May 19th I worked my first time as a carnival worker!  The event was the Westfield Topanga Free Carnival. There was a petting zoo, giant slide, dunk tank, live music and more.  All proceeds and donations went to Variety Children's Charity.

I worked at the ring-toss game.

Armitron Watch

I just recently bought myself a new Armitron watch because my old one stopped working.  I believe it was just the battery, but I decided I would rather buy a new one than replace it, anyway.  I bought this one for around $18.00 at Walmart.

I have had several watches in the past, and Armitron have been the one that has lasted the longest for me. I am a fan and I will keep buying them now that I know how great they are!

On set of "And Then There Was You"

On location for the filming of And Then There was YouThis makes the second time I have filmed at the same location, which is the old Harold Examiner building.  The first time I filmed there was over a year ago for an Angels & Airwaves music video.

I had the opportunity to pose in a wedding photo as the wife of one of the lead actors, Greg Vaughan. The same last name as my real-life husband.  Also , the actress playing our daughter is named Scarlett, same first name as a my sister!  To top it off, the film is due out September 19th, the day before my birthday.

Flowers

A few shots I took of some pretty flowers.

Mother's Day 2013

My mother, Frances, Vaughan and I all went to Rubio's for the first time.  The food was great, and we like how the inside is decorated.  Vaughan liked how they actually serve beer, which is pretty cool for what is basically a fast-food restaurant.

My mother and I had the Original Fish tacos, which were great.  Vaughan chose the Chipotle Orange Shrimp Salad.  I had a few tastes of that and it was really good!

Fashion Blvd coat

I found this Fashion Blvd for just $7.99 at Disabled Veterans Thrift store.

Striped Dress

Outside of the John Kerwin Show, taped in Encino, California.
Stripes are totally in fashion this year, so I bought this dress for just $1.99 at the Disabled Veteran's Thrift Store in Glendale, California.
My dress was made in France, but unfortunately the tag has been removed so I don't know by whom.  It has a patch that says "Art Fashion" on the front, but nothing else to indicate what company made it.

Enfocus Petite dress

I found this beautiful gold dress for $16.99 at Ross.  It is made by Enfocus Petite.
I just really loved how sophisticated the gold, and the design was.  It looks a little Roman or Greek to me, and it has a tie belt.

The Big Photo Show

I stopped by The Big Photo Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center Saturday.  I had never been to the convention center before so I took the chance to take a few photos!

I am wearing my Ynes dress and Bandolino shoes.

They have several of these cool walls with different themes.

In my Forever 21 jacket.

Pancakes & Booze May 3rd 2013

May 3rd, I went to my first art show where I actually had art on display.  Before, I had been as a model in their fashion show, but didn't have any art in the Pancakes & Booze Art Show.  I have done a lot of things as a model, actress and dancer, but this was a cool, new experience to see my own art on display in public that way!

My pieces are the ankh, skull and coral.  They are made by drawing lots of tiny circles.

Wearing my new The Webster Miami blouse.  I received several compliments on my outfit the first day I wore it!  I found this lovely blouse for just $5.99 from the Disabled Veterans Thrift store in Glendale.
I love the print, and the feel of this tunic.  The print is of green leaves with tiny white flamingos!  And the shade of pink is so soft and beautiful.  I paired it with a string of pink beads that go great with it, and a white tutu skirt I purchased a few years ago from Ebay
